My most recent Painter sketch, completely done in the computer. The architecture and the composition were created while I was drawing, so maybe in the end it got a bit confuse.

I took a long break in my drawings (around a year or more), doing some other stuff, when I decided to go back to the digital paintings (the last ones I did are the other images in my portfolio).

This is the first illustration after the long break. I got another old pencil sketch and painted it using Painter. Itīs an imperial palace in the mountains.

Another Painter illustration I did while trying to learn how to use the software. It is completely done in Painter, and you can see that the drawing is not really well-done.

Anyway, the idea was to depict a palace deep in the mountains, washed by lights. Kind of old now.

This is a painting I did based on an old sketch of a location for a possible Vertigo-style comic book. The book never came out, and after being locked in the drawer for some years, I thought it would be a nice exercise to try to paint it in Painter.

I was trying to learn how to use the software, and the idea was to come up with an illustration that would reflect a strange and menacing atmosphere surrounding the mysterious mansion.
